Versatile Compatibility

PES P505 Base power meter adopts the widely popular 110BCD four-bolt specification in the market, which reduces weight and has more comprehensive compatibility. The set includes both a power meter and crank to eliminate trouble in choosing a compatible crank. In the meantime, we provide exclusive chainring. You can build your complete power meter crankset in terms of your personal needs with QED lightweight split chainring.

24mm Steel Spindle, Compatible with SHIMANO Bottom Bracket

PES P505 Base power meter features 24mm steel spindle, which is also popular spindle on the market. It can provide optimum balance for crankset.
SHIMANO users can install it directly without replacing the bottom bracket.

*The BB386 bottom bracket is not compatible.
*For T47 frames, only compatible with external bottom brackets

2、How to maintain the PES P505 power meter later?

In addition to power calibration before riding (via the APP), it is necessary to check whether the torque meets the requirements every 100 kilometers.

3、What type of chainrings is the PES P505 power meter compatible with?

Compatible with 110 BCD 4-bolt chainrings, some 110BCD may be 8-bolt such as GRX cranksets.

Unfortunately not compatible for GRX users.

4、How much does the Magene P505 power meter weight?

Taking the 170mm specification as an example, the power meter weighs 639g,with a 2% deviation.

5、How to reset the PES P505 power meter?

First, put the power meter in charging state. When the charging indicator light comes on, use a magnet (or other magnetic charging head) to close to the indicator area. If the indicator light is red and flashes three times quickly, it means the reset is complete.

I bought a pes p505 and rode it a few times. So far, one of the best affordable power meters for Shimano users in terms of price/performance. Switched directly from my 105 crankset, no extra spacers, no mess, no fuss. Installed in less than 5 minutes. It's not the lightest crankset, but for $300 you really can't find better. My data has been accurate...

Powermeterkurbel hat an meinem Cube Gravel die alte shimano Kurbel ersetzt. Die alten Kettenblätter nebst Schrauben habe ich wieder genutzt. Zusammenbau ging optimal und ohne Probleme. Qualität der Kurbel ist tadellos, macht einen sehr guten und wertigen Eindruck. Habe alles wie angegeben mit Drehmoment angezogen. Die ersten Testfahrten waren sehr gut, Kurbel läuft super und Wattmesser gibt plausible Werte aus. Verbunden mit einem garmin edge per ant+, aber auch Kopplung mit dem Handy ging tadellos. Also für eine beidseitige Messung von Leistungsdaten ein top Preis....

It is very compatible with most Shimano 24mm axis users. The combination of hardware and temperature compensation algorithm allows the accuracy to reach ±1.5%, and it has an acceptable price compared with power meters of the same level.
